Sint Rembert School
Scope
Evaluate indoor air quality conditions in “Sint-Rembert” school in Turnhout, Flanders.
Project Overview
Airscan performed air quality diagnosis service in Sint-Rembert school located in Tourhout. In the air quality measurement campaign, airscan used diagnosis devices with 5 different sensors. The indoor concentration of particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon dioxide (CO2), ozone (O3) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), as well as comfort parameters (temperature and humidity), were analysed. Airscan team paid special attention to indoor CO2 levels.
Result
The results of the measurement campaign were used to develop a cost-effective plan for indoor air quality improvement. Moreover, the Airscan team analysed the potential impact of outdoor pollution levels on indoor air quality. Finally, the results were communicated with the director of the school, teachers and prevention manager.
