Indoor Air Quality

IAQ is crucial as we spend 80-90% of our time indoor

Understanding and controlling common indoor pollutants (VOCs, PMs, CO2,...) can help reduce your risk of indoor health concerns. Health effects from indoor air pollutants may be experienced soon after exposure or, possibly, years later.

Health Effects

“The welfare cost of ill-health linked to poor air quality in the EU to range between €330 billion to €940 billion per year.”

The most common symptoms of poor Indoor Air Quality are: coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, fatigue, dizziness, headaches, upper respiratory congestion, allergies…

Although it is not scientifically proven we believe that working in healthy spaces will improve your chances for happiness. Being less exposed to indoor air pollution effects (headaches, allergies, dizziness,…) increases your productivity, satisfaction & potentially creating a sense of sustainable wellbeing.

Work Performance

Work performance may be improved from a few percent to possibly as much as 10% by providing superior indoor environmental quality (IEQ). The economic benefits of the work performance improvements will often far outweigh the costs of providing better IEQ.

Diagnose & Improve

10 years of research at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS*) laboratory in France were required to develop the technology used by AIRSCAN. It is protected by several patents, and is based on a unique experience in nanoporous materials engineering.
This unique air scanning technology detects and quantifies with great precision the concentration of VOCs, Formaldehyde, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Particulate Matter, Radon, NO2, SO2, CO, Ozone...

In order to evaluate & diagnose the Air Quality (IAQ) we provide a two in one service

If you want to have a quick idea & detailed evaluation of the current Indoor Air Quality this is for you. The installed AIRscanner will provide an overview on how Indoor Air Quality evolves over time.

AIRSCAN will provide you with an overview of the current health damaging levels of Volatile Organic Compounds, Formaldehyde, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Indoor Particulate Matter, Radon, …The daily fluctuations over the week will ease the identification of indoor air pollution patterns.

IAQ improvement actions

After the on-location visit & measurements a report of the indoor air pollution levels is sent to the client. From the report AIRSCAN will share which levels are too high and the potential causes. Actions will be proposed in order further identify and to level out any health affecting peaks. The aim is to get your organisation back into the ‘safe’ zone and regain a healthy work environment. A real-time 24h/24h monitoring system is also available.

a CO2logic spin-off

AIRSCAN wants to inform people and companies about the quality of the indoor air they breathe as it has a direct impact on their health, performance and behaviour. As the Indoor Air Quality greatly depends of outside air quality we thought it was crucial to link both outdoor (CO2logic) and indoor air quality services with AIRSCAN.

CO2logic (since 2006) has an extensive experience in environmental & climate advisory services. AIRSCAN intends to develop the same quality service and customer satisfaction. Whatever we do we try to have a positive impact on society. Here we develop a necessary business that brings an answer to existential needs (health, environmental justice,..). Business at the service of people & planet & not the other way around.
