Continuous partnership with Gent University in research activities associated with the indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring and analysis.
Project Overview
Ghent University is a top 100 university and one of the major universities in Belgium. The university has 11 faculties that offer more than 200 courses and conduct in-depth research within a wide range of scientific domains. Airscan is mainly collaborating with the faculties of Bioscience engineering and architecture due to the work field similarity.
Result
Since 2018, Airscan contributed to multiple research activities going in Gent University. Airscan sensors were used in PhD research activities in the field of volatile organic compounds emissions from the building materials, in masters thesis research of indoor air quality assessment and others. Moreover, Airscan always welcomes to host students for their internship research during the summer and winter breaks.
