Airscan rondt drie WELL-certificeringen af in september

Airscan, the only accredited Belgian WELL Performance Testing Provider, successfully delivered three major WELL Certifications this September: ARTS 20 (Embuild HQ), The Source (Eiffage Group HQ), and Montoyer 10 (Coffimmo). This milestone reaffirms Airscan’s leadership in the Belgian real estate sector, offering full-service performance testing across air quality, water, lighting, acoustics, and thermal comfort to advance healthier, high-performing workplaces.

Airscan is proud to announce the successful completion of three WELL Certifications in Belgium this September, reaffirming its role as a trusted Belgian WELL Performance Testing Provider.

The certified projects include:

  • ARTS 20 (Embuild HQ in Brussels)
  • The Source (Eiffage Group HQ in Auderghem)
  • Montoyer 10 (Office building from Coffimmo in the European Quarter)

Our Role as the Accredited WELL Performance Testing Provider

As the only accredited Belgian WELL Performance Testing Provider, Airscan supports project teams in achieving certification while ensuring the highest indoor environmental standards. Collaborating with local partners enhances project efficiency and sustainability, reducing environmental impact and leveraging regional expertise.

With these three certifications finalised in September, Airscan continues to strengthen its position as a key partner in the WELL ecosystem, advancing healthier indoor environments through technical expertise and deep knowledge of the WELL Building Standard.

Full-Service WELL Performance Testing

Airscan provides a comprehensive full-service approach to WELL Performance Testing, covering all performance-based features required for certification. This includes:

  • Air quality testing
  • Water analysis
  • Lighting assessments
  • Acoustical performance measurements
  • Thermal comfort evaluations

By rigorously testing and evaluating these aspects, Airscan ensures that buildings not only meet the technical requirements of the WELL Building Standard but also create healthier, more comfortable, and productive indoor environments for occupants.

The Growing Trend of Dual Certification (WELL + BREEAM)

In addition to WELL, these projects also target or have already achieved BREEAM certification, highlighting the rising significance of recognised sustainability and wellness standards in Belgium’s real estate sector. This trend shows that developers increasingly see certifications not merely as labels, but as essential tools for creating high-quality, healthy, and environmentally responsible buildings.

Industry Perspective

We asked a key collaborator about the value of the WELL framework in project management:

Marie Boucher, Project Manager at Building for the Future (B4F): “As a WELL AP working on renovation projects in Belgium, I find that the WELL certification brings a valuable framework for integrating health and well-being into building design. It’s a great tool to structure conversations around indoor environmental quality, especially in projects where it’s not always the main focus. It helps structure things in a very concrete and practical way, which is valuable both for clients and design teams. It’s encouraging to see growing interest in WELL, and I believe it has strong potential to shape healthier work environments.”

Prioritizing People

Adyl Anvarov, WELL Performance Testing Agent at Airscan: “2025 shows a clear increase in the number of projects achieving the WELL Certification in Belgium. This is a positive sign, reflecting that more real estate developers are prioritising health and well-being in workspaces, putting people at the centre of their design and management decisions.”
