Airscan Malaisie

Ts. Syida Nazri is a DOSH-accredited Indoor Air Quality Assessor, a credential that places her among the practitioners authorised to assess indoor air quality compliance under the Industry Code of Practice on Indoor Air Quality 2010 (ICOP). She leads the Sustainability Department at Airscan Malaysia, drawing upon 6 years at the Ministry of Health Malaysia, leading IAQ and sustainability programmes at Hospital Kuala Lumpur – the largest hospital in Southeast Asia – and extending that work across more than 40 government healthcare facilities, where she pioneered MOH’s sustainability programme and verified IAQ compliance against MyCREST and other green building standards. That experience now shapes how Airscan Malaysia delivers IAQ assessment, regulatory compliance, and green building certification work for Malaysian clients across healthcare, government, and commercial buildings. She is also a MyCREST and GreenRE Assessor, a Professional Technologist in Green Technology, and a PhD candidate in Environmental Health Sciences researching fungal decontamination and IAQ innovation in healthcare settings. Her writing focuses on Malaysia’s IAQ regulatory landscape, the DOSH framework, and the practical reality of meeting compliance standards in operational buildings.
