Airscan rejoint la faculté WELL

Airscan is proud to announce that it has joined the WELL Faculty team, strengthening its commitment to boosting healthier buildings and supporting the continued development of the WELL Certification movement in Europe.

For Airscan, becoming part of the WELL Faculty represents an important milestone in our journey within the WELL community. Over the past years, Airscan has been actively involved in WELL projects across Belgium and internationally, providing independent performance verification and supporting project teams in translating healthy-building ambitions into measurable outcomes.

From performance testing to knowledge sharing

Airscan’s work with WELL has always been strongly connected to measurement and evidence. As a WELL Performance Testing Provider, Airscan performs on-site testing to verify key aspects of building performance, including indoor air quality, water quality, lighting, thermal comfort and acoustics.

Through this experience, we have seen first-hand that achieving a healthy building is not simply about selecting the right design strategies. It requires planning, measurement, verification and continuous attention to how a building performs in real life.

Joining the WELL Faculty creates an opportunity to share this practical experience with the wider WELL community.

The Faculty brings together professionals who contribute their expertise to advancing knowledge around healthy buildings and the WELL Building Standard. For Airscan, this means contributing not only through performance testing, but also through education, knowledge exchange and engagement with professionals working across the built environment.

Connecting measurement with real-world building performance

One of Airscan’s key areas of expertise is indoor environmental quality. Our work spans laboratory-based environmental testing, on-site measurements, sensor deployment and long-term monitoring.

This practical perspective has become increasingly important as the industry moves towards more data-driven approaches to building performance.

Measurements can reveal what is actually happening inside a building: whether ventilation is providing adequate air quality, whether thermal conditions remain comfortable, whether acoustic conditions meet the intended objectives, or whether water quality meets the required criteria.

Data provides the connection between the intentions of a project and the experience of the people using the building.

Through its involvement in WELL, Airscan aims to continue building this connection between technical performance, reliable measurement and healthier spaces.

Supporting the WELL community

Airscan WELL Performance Testing Agent Adyl Anvarov already contributes to the WELL community through his role on the WELL Air Concept Advisory Board, where he brings practical experience and expertise in indoor air quality and performance testing.

He also actively contributes to discussions within the WELL Forum, where his engagement has reached an impressive 612-day streak, reflecting a continued commitment to knowledge sharing and collaboration across the WELL community.

Becoming part of the WELL Faculty builds on this ongoing involvement and creates a further opportunity for Airscan to share practical experience, contribute to professional education and support the continued development of healthier buildings.

Looking ahead

The built environment is changing rapidly. Building performance is becoming increasingly measurable, while occupants and organisations are placing greater emphasis on health, wellbeing and environmental quality.

At Airscan, we believe that healthy buildings should not only be designed to perform, but their performance should be demonstrated through reliable, independent measurement.

Becoming part of the WELL Faculty strengthens our ability to contribute to this mission and to the continued development of the WELL Standard.

We look forward to sharing knowledge, exchanging experiences and continuing to work with professionals across the industry to make healthier buildings measurable, verifiable and achievable.
